Snowboarding is a subculture and it is important to ride with each other rather than against each other! A good example to bring that mentality in to contests was the halfpipe jam during the Laax Open. It showed the community and the riders whats snowboarding all about.
During the last season did this mindset inspire me to create images in which the riders perform their skills on the same obsticales at the same time.
Some of them are unedited and straight out of the camera with slight adjustments. Some of them are pretty edited and not how they happened in the contest. However, the whole project is more art and represents what I want snowboarding to look like. It's not really something I want to see as a cover or as an award-winning photo because it's heavily edited. It's more of an art project of mine to showcase how snowboarding looks and feels to me.
